# How it works?

#### &#x20;How to Donate

1. Go to our Website - <https://donorship.io> and connect your wallet.

2. **Choose the blockchain** you wish to donate with (Ethereum is currently the only supported chain, but we intend to add more in the future) and click on **"Choose A Token"** to find the full accepted token list.
3. Click on **"Choose An Organization"** and find the organization you would like to donate.
4. Fill in the amount of **$** you wish to donate.
5. If you wish, you can tick the **"I'd Like A Tax Receipt"** and fill your email address to get a tax receipt directly to your email.

6. Now click on **"Donate Now"** and wait for the transaction to complete

7. Once the transaction is **complete**, you will be given the TX ID and a link to the blockchain explorer (In this case, Etherscan)

8. You have successfully **donated** using our widget! Thank you very much. <mark style="color:red;">❤️</mark>

**Please note that tax receipt can take up to 24 hours to process's.**

Donorship applies a fee structure to all donations processed through its widget, while in certain instances, affiliates may also earn fees from donations made on their platform through the widget. This dual fee mechanism ensures that both Donorship and its affiliates are supported in their commitment to charitable causes.\
Moreover, it's important to note that these fees are **completely transparent**, with all details visible on the blockchain, fostering trust and accountability in the donation process.
